cyber industrial networks pty ltd objective is to service the needs of industry in achieving reliable, robust and secure infrastructure that supports productivity. We acknowledge the challenges faced by Operational Technology (OT) teams in maintaining their systems, and achieving the reliability and security objectives of their companies. We know that working in collaboration with the IT and InfoSec team is essential to delivery of a Industrial Control System (ICS) that meets operational, productivity and security requirements.
Our Story
cyber industrial networks pty ltd was created in 2021, born out of a desire to service the industrial automation market, who are facing increasing challenges with network scalability, reliability and security.

Our Team brings 35+ years of experience in the industrial automation industry, with a focus not only on the automation platform, but the underlying network and infrastructure on which it relies.

Our experience has shown that there are common issues experienced across all industries that have adopted process control and communications networks, and that the solutions are also common, available now and readily deployable.
Ben Lamb - Principal

With 25 years of experience in the communications and industrial automation community, Ben has recently held positions of Engineering manager, Principal Engineer, and Business Lead within systems integrators and ICS Vendors. In these roles, Ben has held technical, fiscal and functional safety responsibility for the industrial automation and networking projects delivered in his tenure.
Ben has executed work across the globe, including, Africa, Middle East, Russia, UK, Chile, Mongolia and New Zealand.
Tom Smith - Network Architect

Tom Smith is a network architect with 11 years of experience in a variety of operational technology, telecommunication, datacentre, cyber security and enterprise roles. Having most recently held the position of Network Consultant for a global industrial automation company, Tom’s experience extends across multiple operational technology disciplines including, mining, manufacturing, food and beverage and pharmaceuticals.

Tom has certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Claroty Implementation Engineer (CIE) and VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.5].
